Re: [Everything doTERRA] Type II Diabetes and Coriander

Several family members in my extended family have type II diabetes, so I'm always curious about oils and techniques for them.  When you say down the other toes, do you mean additional drops spread to the other toes or the one drop on the big toe is spread to all the toes?

My Father, is diabetic, type II. Has been on the supplements for 3 months and loves them. But has been struggling with more blood sugar dips and mental fogs. Due in at least some part to diet, does the Coriander help the pancreas with insulin production? Or help regulate blood sugars naturally?

I'm off to bed and to read my new essentials of the earth book, I may be adding a bottle of Coriander to his January Autoship.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Sciatica

For sciatica....if you will find your release points for it by taking your hands and putting them on your back beside your spine at the waist, and then where your middle finger rests start digging around on your tushy cheek and you will find the point of entry (I call it) that once massaged will release the pain from your sciatica (you will know you found it when it takes your breath away) and once you release it....use some of the oils in the previous posts....Peppermint and Deep Blue with Basil works great...also  Birch if you have it...if not Wintergreen for the pain.    Happy New Year!   Julie Ann

There are some wonderful oils for Sciatica, I would recommend the following blend that you would add a little coconut oil to for spreading:
Equal amounts of Deep Blue, Peppermint, Lavender and Wintergreen. rub on lower back, buttocks and affected leg. If these oils do not work
here are a few others that would also be great but not everyone has these.
Roman Chamomile
Helichyrsum
Thyme
Balance
White Fir
Sandalwood

The Gum Disease you could use OnGuard, doing a push and pull with a little water and OnGuard. Also brush you teeth with OnGuard at least twice a day. If you have pain use a little clove with the wash. Continue this until your gum problem is resolved.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Type II Diabetes and Coriander

We have had smashing success with just putting it on the bottom of the big toe 1 drop each foot, and down the other toes.  Totally turned someone around with just applying it that way.   Also the other suggestions are great that you pointed out.   Happy New Year!!   Julie Ann

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Myrrh

I second the advice for LLW for hair.  I had a baby last April and by July, most of my hair had fallen out.  This has happened with previous 5 babies and it never grew back, so by #6, my hair was so thin, you could see my scalp.  It was horrifying.  I didn't even want to leave the house.  I researched everything I could about what I could do, and came up empty.  I discovered DoTerra about the same time, so I started putting peppermint on my scalp everynight and then in August, I started on LLW.  Within a month, I began to see regrowth all over my head, and now it's about an inch thick.  I feel like my 3 year old, with all of her new growth, but I'm not complaining!  I 100% attribute it to LLW.  I also now add Rosemary, when I remember, to my scalp per advice I read here, but I think the LLW was the main thing for me!

You need to be on the LLW nutrition. My hair is so healthy, I also put rosemary
on it, every time I shampoo. Just as the wise men did, you did also, giving your
parents a wonderful gift. Make sure they take one of the reference books with them
so they will know what to do with the oils. Myrrh is wonderful for the following:
Asthma
Sore throat
Digestion
fungal infections
prostate
gum infections
wrinkles,
wounds
hemorroids
coughs
mucus

And really much more.
Hope this helps.

Re: [Everything doTERRA]

Thanks Monica for mentioning LLW. I did not and should have. I have also been taking the LLW and for the first time in 65 years have been growing nails that are strong. So I am sure it was both, but I have started taking the LLW for granted. It is such a part of my life that I can't even imagine not having it.

At 5 months he needs to stay in an infant carseat.... There are requirement on carseats that go with height and weight. So u won't be ready for a new car seat until the child is more than 1 year old (depending on his height and weight). If u feel like getting a brand new one a 3-n-1 convertible carseat is good. U can still use it for rear-facing and then use ir for forward facing when ur child is ready. Rear facing is the saddest for infants and children over one years old. Again depending on height and weight. All carseat makers typically make 3-n-1 convertibles. Clothing size doesn't matter. My son started wearing12- 24 month clothing at 6months. But that doesn't mean too much. Hope this helps u out

I am looking to replace my grandson's infant carseat with the next larger one. There are too many to choose from! I have a 2 door truck that I have to "climb" into because I am a bit on the short side. My grandson, at 5 months is already wearing 12-18 month size clothes - he is a big boy.

Before you go out and spend alot of money you should look into craigslist. You'll get them cheap and you can always review the product ahead of time. Most of them are in brand new condition. Good luck!!!!

If you go to a store like wal-mart or target where the seats are out on display it will be best. Then you could put your grandson in & see how he fits.. Also even if he is a big boy in one of the larger ones he may need one of the headrest things you can buy extra to put in to keep his head more stable especially when he fall asleep. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Be VERY careful about purchasing used carseats. Most manufacturers warn against resale, and organizations such as Goodwill no longer take used car seats. There's no way to tell if they have been damaged or involved in an accident, and a used carseat *can* present a danger to your child. If you get a used one, your best bet is to get it from family or friends who you trust to indicate that it's never been in an accident, and CHECK the product recall list to make sure the car seat isn't on it!

Hi Liana,

No, my daughter doesn't play alone in other circumstances!  so therefore i'm not really expecting her to do the puzzle by herself while i watch tv!  however what surprises me is that even if i'm directly in front of her asking her to do the puzzle, she doesn't do it.  she wants me to do it, even though i'm pretty sure she knows where some of the pieces go, at least the obvious ones.

Dear Sarika,

Does your daughter play alone in other circumstances? Is it about the ability of doing puzles or about the ability/habit of playing alone?

i have a daughter who will be 3 in february and we have started doing some 24 piece puzzles.  she likes to do them as long as i'm right in front of her telling her exactly where the pieces go!  or she'll take a 50 piece puzzle and ask me to do the whole thing whiel she watches me.  i was just wondering if your kids do puzzles, and at what age do they start doing them independently?  thanks!!

charades

Posted by: "sarika8282" sarika8282@yahoo.com   sarika8282

Wed Dec 30, 2009 7:25 am (PST)

i'm looking for some ideas for words or phrases for charades. we plan to play on new years eve. there will be kids and adults, although i imagine the adults will do most of the guessing. when it's a kid's turn, it would be nice to have a list for the kids to act out.

i've been looking on the internet and i only see movies, books, celebrities, etc. i was looking for more general things, like "sky" or "mountain." we have a wide range of people at the party, and movies or books won't work well.

thanks!!
