[Everything doTERRA] Re: compliant stuff

Yes i agree an even greater dilution is necessary for children! I would make a stock bottle of 4 drops in 3 tablespoons of carrier oil.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] New narcolepsy diagnosis

Brittany, what wonderful counsel you've provided!

When you talked about the frequency and the no-no's of eating it made me think of the Wheat Belly way of eating. Eating grains (especially wheat) and processed sugars are known to induce lethargy and fatigue so eliminating them from your diet may prove to be of benefit in living with narcolepsy. If you try Wheat Belly (check out the blog at www.wheatbelly.com) it for a few weeks I'd love to hear how it worked for you.

I started eating the Wheat Belly way a few months ago because of inflammation and I'm so glad that I did! The benefits for me are multiple.

Wishing you the best,
Dee

Sam-e also seem to help.

Most importantly, " train" your brain. For example, I make sure I wear my eye mask to make it completely dark for my naps. It helps me to be more sensitive to light and to give me a fighting change but I also have to take a nap when I have to by wearing the mask. It's no guarantee but it stacks things in your favor. It just helps me to fight the sleep spells briefly if necessary until I can take a nap. It's hard to explain.

It is a complete lifestyle change and management. It took me years to adapt after my diagnosis.

One thing I've noticed is that the Deep Blue Rub goes a LONG way, it just seems to keep spreading so start out with just a bit, you can always add more but it's tough to get it back into the tube. LOL

I think of the Deep Blue Blend as a more concentrated formula that you'd use for a very targeted [small?] area.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: compliant stuff

You can try layering a drop of basil and a drop of arborvitae (it works better for me than Melaleuca) behind the ear and around to in front of the ear. I always dilute my oils to a 3.5-5% solution and an even great dilution is a must for children.

Layering Basil and Arborvitae have given me relief when I experience ear congestion and/or discomfort. (Sure hope I'm saying this in a compliant way!)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: compliant stuff

Can you give a 6 year old OnGuard soft gels? Other recommendations for ear infections besides basil on cotton ball in ear?
Thanks

What is a static online doterra presence?  I have never heard of static online presence - I tried even googling it to understand ...?

On your Team Secret Facebook sites - can you use doterra pictures, doterra names?

On Secret Team pages - can you have protocols - can you use actual disease name or do you have to make up another term for it?

On Personal Facebook account - why can we not list that we are a doterra wellness advocate?

On personal Facebook account - can we list our website?

I deleted my whole pinterest board of 700 plus posts - can we have our website listed on Pinterest where it says our contact information

On pinterest can we have product pictures?   protocols?

just hoping someone can write a paragraph that is easier to understand on what we can and can not do.  Thank you

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Deep Blue rub vs EO bottle

Definitely try the samples from Pat of the Deep Blue Rub. I've been having issues with my shoulder too and have been using Lemongrass with some Fractionated Coconut Oil to help spread it over the entire area.

Q?  Should I get the oil and put into a roller bottle, like I did with the little bit of Pan-Away we were given.
And if so, how much should it be diluted with Fractionated Coconut oil?
Or should we order the 4oz tube of the cream.
The main difference for uses between the two?

I would think the Deep Blue Rub would be very soothing. If  you would like to sample it first you may private message me with an address and I will send you a few samples of the DB rub.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] New narcolepsy diagnosis

I have narcolepsy. I experience the same symptoms along with mild cataplexy. The medicAtion does dimish appetite.

In addition to medications:

eat small meals every two hours. Large meals triggers my fatigue
Avoid food with additives and preservations. These food seem to make me more fatigued.
excerise a lot and it's ok to take naps ( up to 30 minutes At a time)
LLV
Mito2max
Slim and sassy ( I am thin but for some reason it boosts my energy briefly)
Inhale peppermint routinely
Strict bedtime routine
Move around as much as you can and engage in stimulating activities to help wand off sleep.
