[Everything doTERRA] Re: Seeing Spots

The lightning strikes are what I called it in the peripheral area of my vision and the excessive amount of floaters is what I experienced back in August.  I was referred to an Ophthalmologist who confirmed what I was going through as a tear in the Vitreous sack or a Vitreous detachment & floaters.  The amount of floaters and the length - not just dots but squiggly lines - was very annoying since I work at a computer all day.  This is not to be confused with a retinal detachment which someone earlier described it correctly as a curtain coming down and you see nothing...VERY serious. This isn't as serious and it is quite common.  I had a Vitrectomy,  this was surgery and I was put out but I experienced no pain. The Dr made 3 tiny holes in my eye - one to see, one to flush out the floaters and one to drain them out.  Because of my job, I wasn't able to work for a week but I was able to do do everything else.  I haven't had any problems since.  Good luck
