I see a lot of people using clear bottles, but my own opinion is to use the amber or blue. I use amber or dark brown myself as it keeps sunlight out, which can deteriorate the oil over time. Oils are too expensive to have them loose their potency. If clear was the best you would think doTERRA would use clear for all their oils.

I would like to make some of my own blends and put them in those glass roller ball vials for portability purposes. Does it matter what color the glass is? Of course, the clear glass ones are less expensive and doTERRA does use the clear for their Past Tense but their vials are amber so I'm wondering if it really makes a difference.
