Most books written prior to 2008 will say not to ingest the oils, and even some after might say that, but only because they have not researched doTerra. The purity of our oils set a whole new standard for essential oils. Most oils on the market before doTerra would add fillers to the oils. Usually because they are so powerful the oils were still effective as long as they were not taken internally.

If you look on our bottles and it lists the ingredients then you know you can take them internally.
