They're going through the legal process. YL answered the doTERRA Complaint, and I'm sure that doTERRA answered the YL complaint. Both likely denied everything (standard legal process).

I did find the following status update giving a brief outline of the dates that have been tentatively scheduled in the case. Note that the trial is set for April 27, 2015. Between now and then, the attorneys for both companies will be engaged in "discovery." That means that they will be gathering more evidence, taking depositions (sworn statements) of the various people involved, etc. They have until October 31, 2014 to complete that phase (the longest part of the process). Anywhere along the line the parties can choose to settle this out of court without proceeding further. However, it is still very early in the legal process for something like that to happen. Also, despite the schedule being set, below, the schedule can always be changed/extended for a number of reasons. So as much as we would love this to just go away, it is extremely unlike that it will at this point. Meanwhile, love the oils!
