Re: [Everything doTERRA] Kidney Transplants

I think the response from your Dr. is an interesting answer. Vanderbilt Hospital is using the doTERRA essential oils in their hospital now. Makes me wonder if he knows that. There is a FOX NEWS story about the study. Also, two of the nurses on the doTERRA Medical Advisory Board are from Vanderbilt Hospital.

Pat always has wonderful information. And I would only add that your friends health care is ultimately her decision. If her intuition is asking questions about a scan I would say follow that feeling. There is no harm in the scan and it is her choice to use the products afterwards if that feels good to her. I am sure she will take all the information and find the best result for herself.

Congrats and WOOHOO! for 9 years of success with a transplant. That is fabulous!

I personally don't think the scan would hurt you at all. I have actually scanned a person with a kidney transplant and they were just fine. It simply reads you energy to decide what markers you need to fix. You doctor doesn't understand this, they use these same types of machines in the hospital only much more complex.
I also don't think essential oils would hurt you, but I would start any of them slowly and let your body adapt. If you are looking for a pick up then try one of the citrus oils, possibly lemon in your water.

Hello!

I just received this email and I don't really know how to respond to it.  I am having a hard time finding any specific information about contraindications with anti-rejection medications.  I have read the entries available which are relatively old.  Perhaps someone has more up to date information at this point.  I would appreciate any help anyone can offer.  Would the scans actually indicate something that would be harmful?  I wouldn't think so.  Thanks so much!

Email:  Before I make an appointment for a Scan,  I should tell you that I am a Kidney Transplant patient.  I recently visited my doctor at Vanderbilt in Nashville and asked him about using these oils for treatment in conjunction with my high blood pressure meds; as always I am concerned about trying anything without consulting with him for fear of interactions with my anti rejection drugs and BP meds.  The response that he gave me was that I would be wasting my money.  My transplant was 9 years ago and was very successful and all of my meds have worked well for me; the only thing that bothers me is the tired feeling from the BP meds.  I wanted to know if you have any experience with someone with a similar situation as mine and if so what is your opinion about the essential oils for treatment of high blood pressure.
