[Everything doTERRA] Birch, cavities, remineralization

Not sure who it was that asked since I read the mail on my phone and couldn't reply.  Here is what I copied and pasted from previous threads about it.  I will soon try it out (when I get the other Birch oil and see if it's worthy of using).

Lucky me. I've had pain for 3 days & dentist diagnosed the need for a
root canal this evening.
Xray shows no infection or cavity. Possibly a hairline crack. I've
read about the recommended oil pull & I will start that tonight. My
question is: does anyone have any info of oils helping repair teeth
cracks?
I was thinking of adding birch or wintergreen to the pull but wanted
feedback from you folks in the know.

Thank you in advance!

Right now just do the clove, oregano and oil. I am not sure about why the
teeth crack, that is what happened to me.
No matter what this pull will help you.

Floride is a hardener of tooth enamal for sure, but it hardens them to
the point of being brittle. It also blocks absorbtion of other
minerals. There is an excellent book by Ramiel Nigal called "Heal
Tooth Decay"  http://www.curetoothdecay.com /  It contains diet and
other things you can do to help heal your teeth naturaly. It is worth
a look. It based on research done by Weston A Price. Added to your oil
knowledge, I am sure you will find relief quickly with it's
information. Also my mother used to use a whole clove to relieve tooth
pain, she would just pop it in between tooth and gum. So the clove oil
would certainly help there. Hope it's okay to recomend a book and
website not doTerra, but it's worth at least a look. Here is a link
for a remineralizing toothpaste http://wellnessmama.com/2500/homemade-remineralizing-toothpaste-recipe/
also there was a recipe for toothpaste posted just recently. It would
have good ideas for the oils to add.

The oil pull is helping tremendously. I'm guessing that is why they
can't detect any infection.
I've been floride free for 15 years now so I hope I've worked out the
majority from my system. Apart from growing up in a community where
the water had a high quantity of floride in the water, 20  years after
moving away my teeth have a more healthy appearance. The biggest issue
I have is a mouthful of amalgamum(sp?). The majority of these were
received when I was 8 years old. I'm 37 now. I was told that these
kind of filling were only meant to last for 15 years & are now
failing. I've been waiting until we were definitely finished having
anymore children before having these nasty mercury fillings taking
out. I'm very excited to read this info. Hope!
On a side note, the tooth that is giving me problems had a very small
plastic composite filling. I suspect that my oiling may have loosened
it.

I would certainly try Birch-you could put it directly on the tooth.  I just had a tooth pulled that was an old root canal.  The dentist said root canal teeth are not strong and they are brittle.  This "dead" tooth was also affecting several organs in my body and I am now trying to heal them with oils.  I know of 2 alternative dentists who would NOT do root canals. There is a reason.  Do some research before you have this done.

My son-in-law is the one who got me starting on this oil pull after my tooth fractured.
He also told me that consistent use also got rid of a cavity. Don't you just love these oils?

I really do. I've seen decay in my children's mouths disappear as we
started making our own toothpaste with our oils. Amazing!

Just curious...

What oils did you use to take care of the tooth decay?

Thanks for your answers!

Jess,

Just a 'heads up.'  I had an experience with pain in the gumline above
my most upper left-hand tooth several years ago.  The dentist could
see no reason for it - no infection, nothing in xrays.  I had a root
canal and that did not stop the pain.  I was really worried that
whatever was causing the pain would spread to other nearby teeth.  So,
after consulting with my dentist, I had the tooth removed.  This was
all before I began using essential oils.

Turned out that a few months later, the pain returned.  This time, I
was not so quick to extract more teeth!  I had heard that sometimes
the mouth (teeth, gums, etc) reflect what is going on elsewhere in the
body.  By this time, I was using oils and applied what worked for me
in the area (peppermint).  Detoxing with GX Assist and consistent use
of LLV has permanently eradicated the pain.

Hope this helps ~
   Have a Sunny day!

Just a thought on this.. We just went through this with my dad & sister in law & after dentists & chiros said there was nothing off that would have such aches & pains in the tooth we went to my favorite book for this-In my favorite book on this: Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol Kahn Truman a Painful Tooth is Inability to be decisive... don't know if that fits or not but it did with them... :)

good luck,

I put different oils in the toothpaste depending on my mood. :) But
the usual mix contains on guard, peppermint, birch, melaleuca, myrrh &/
or melissa (when I'm feeling rich & fancy.)

Also note that the cavities that disappeared were small ones. I
wouldn't let a large cavity sit in my kids mouth. I really try to be a
better parent than that.

That's the same area where my trouble is. Do you mind sharing the
correlating problem you were having?
I'm not familiar with teeth charting.

I will check that out.
Thank you!

I'm using the remineralizing paste that someone posted a link to
earlier. After I brush I use Pat's rinse/ oil pull.
when my tooth is well I don't think I'll stop. I really like it.

Update:
I did the recommended oil pull, the remineralizing tooth paste plus
directly packing birch & clove oils into the trouble spot.
When I went back to the dentist a couple of days later for the
scheduled root canal I had had no pain for 24 hours. He did some more
testing & suggested a pulp cap. He was interested in seeing if over
time the oils would heal the issue as well. So he cleaned out the
cavity & let me keep my tooth nerve & root.
Oh yeah, I saved $900 too.
Thank you all sooo much for sharing. I can't express how much this
will change my family's life. I am no longer bound by arcaic
misinformation that could ruin my health & waste my cash that we work
so hard to earn.

Oh gee! Forgive Miss Chatty here but I forgot to mention that I'm also
doing nettie pot with a drop each of lavender, lemon, & peppermint to
keep my sinuses clean of infection. After the procedure I has some
strange drainage feeling & wanted to be sure that none of the infected
guck powder he drilled out decided to make a home in there.
