[Everything doTERRA] Re: sty on my dogs eye

Looking at what we do for human stys, and knowing which oils we can use on dogs, I would suggest immortelle and maybe add a little extra frankincense. Rub the immortelle on your fingertip then carefully rub your fingertip around the eyelid. Follow with frankincense if you choose. You can do this 3 or 4 times a day, especially if you do the roller on the feet, too. (see below).

As it tells us on the everythingessential.me site, avoid getting the oils in the eyes. It won't hurt anything, it will just be annoying. If it happens, use a drop of FCO in the eye to dilute.

Stys are a bacterial infection so you can also but onguard on the pads of the paws of the dog, every couple of hours. I use a 5mL roller on my dogs; it's easier than using drops on the feet. For this I would put 15 drops each of frankincense, on guard, and lavender, plus FCO to fill a 5mL roller. Then roll it on each pad on each paw every couple of hours.

I have also attached the dog care sheet (AromaTools.com) for your reference in knowing which oils to use on dogs.
