[Everything doTERRA] Re: hi, i have a friend w/ hand and leg going numb at times, any suggestions??

It could be a buildup of calcium on the spine which narrows the open where the nerves pass through causing pressure on the nerves.  I have this in my neck, and I get a numbness in my arms.  The numbness is not a problem with circulation, but the buildup narrows the space in the spine (foramina) that the nerves pass through and pinches it. When I move my head up or down, or turn my head from side to side I can hear a grinding/cracking sound.  If the nerve is pinched in the cervical spine (neck) the numbness will be in the arms.  If the nerve is pinched in the lumbar spine (lower back) it will affect the legs.

I am experimenting using marjoram and lemongrass oil on the bottoms of my feet morning and evening to dissolve the buildup, and aroma touch oil or Frankincense oil on my neck (cervical spine) for inflammation.  I believe it is helping dissolve the buildup, but I think it is going to be a long, slow process.  It's better than having a discectomy and fusion though!  After a month of treatment I can turn my head further, and the pain in my arms has decreased.
