[Everything doTERRA] Re: kidney stones

My husband has had problems with kidney stones for 20 years off and on I hope to get him to try this.  My question is do you think this is something he should do everyday for this rest of his life or just if he thinks there is a problem or when he goes to his doctor again which is a regular event at least twice a year.  Once he puts the two oils on does he rub it in or just let it absorb.  I know it sounds like a dumb question but I know he will ask?
