as an update - apparently her foot was black, necrotic and just needed to come off. My friend knew it was coming but didn't say anything until today when she commented on being sad about what was happening. The doctor wanted to take off her leg mid-thigh, but she refused and would only let him amputate to mid calf :( I don't know if she is diabetic or not, I had a hard time getting some info from my friend because it was obviously hurting her to think about it, it was obvious they were going to continue as scheduled.
I have saved your notes though. Thank you. very sad. Diane, may I have my father call you? He is diabetic and could definitely use the help to get his diet and treatment changed around. he is open to using the oils, just on a tight budget.
