You are correct, doTerra only sources their oils from area they are indigenous too. And we source them from all over the world.

Hi all,I had my first class last night, and one of the attendees just asked me if there is any benefit to using locally grown herbs in the oils?I'm not exactly sure, now that I type her question out, if she is asking about ADDING locally grown herbs to the oils, or if she is asking if there is a benefit to the oils being locally sourced. I have an idea about answering the question if it is the latter, thinking that the oils are most potent when sourced from indigenous plants, but would love information from those of you who are more experienced.I'm in Corvallis, OR, where locally grown everything is all the rage and some people are on 100 mile diets (eating only what is grown within 100 miles of where you live), just to give you a little background... and she could also be thinking about how locally sourced honey is beneficial for allergies...--
