Good to know this, I will give everyone a heads up and to be very careful.
We have had some amazing results from fair skinned people, as to how well
this worked for them.
Sorry it didn't work for you and your children.

I took the plunge and tried using VCO and lavender for sunscreen today. My 3 kids and I were at the pool this morning for about 1 1/2 hours. We burned horribly. I was sooo bummed!!! Maybe the helichrysum works better than the lavender for some skin types?? Or maybe my ratios of lav:VCO were off?

hi, I gave sponsored my daughter in central Floroda. She is in
Rockledge but is willing to travel to Orlando. Is there any meetings
she could attend in that area that would welcome her? I live in UT.
Thanks

Not a doTerra tip but since so many on the list are either on Paleo,
Candida or other really limiting diets I thought I'd pass this on, its a
dairy free alternative to whipped cream. gin

Is it safe to say that Food Allergies for a 9 year old boy could
possibly be caused by candida? His mom says he is a picky eater and
his lips get swollen/chest tight after he eats carrots and melons. I
was looking up in the archieves and saw that candida might be the
possibility. If so, lemon in the water for the cleanse?
I look forward to your responses!
Thank you!
Erika
Rachel Wachs <rachelloveswade@gmail.com> Jun 24 06:21AM -0400 ^
Candida may very likely be an underlying cause. I would use the lemon water
and pb assist for him. And then work on his diet.

There is a great webinar in the archives of builddoterra.com, it is called Hormones and Essential Oils (part 11).
This is by Dr. Hill and will possibly answer your questions.

Can someone explain to me what is happening with not being able to
access the thousands of posts for this group after August 2011.. How
can you get them all before this happens. Also I am NEW to this group
and am trying to learn more about doTERRA, and thought that when I
went to everything doterra before, there were several links to click
on to get info. What happened to those. Like the one that had info on
all the essential oils and testimonials and you being able to put in a
condition and a list of oils and testimonies would come up you could
click on. Is that all gone as well?
Would really appreciate any insight you guys can give me and help in
trying to find my way around and where to get the most "detailed" info
on the oils and how they work and what conditions etc they are
traditionally used for etc.
Look forward to hearing back from you. Hope to learn a lot from this
group. Any other groups you suggest to join to be able to well versed
in doTERRA oils and their uses??
Thanks in advance for any help and guidance you may send my way.

I believe it is just the zipped files and pages, not the posts themselves.
There aren't that many files, really, so it is easy to download them all
(many of them are no longer applicable).
To access the database you are referring to, go to
http://everythingessential.me/
Everythingdoterra.com has links to all that the ZdoTERRA team have put
together to generously share with the entire field, including the
everythingessential.me.
Builddoterra.com is another great resource as is sharedoterra.com.
Lots of Diamonds out there who are very generous with their assistance to
everyone! I'm so grateful. It helps this newbie feel like a pro!

My grandmother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer after her PET
scan it was revealed that it has spread to her lung and liver. She
chose to begin treatment and underwent her first round of Chemo
treatments last week but is having a very hard time recovering. She
can't eat due to the nausea and she's in a lot of pain. She also has
Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) It causes her body to not produce blood
cells, red or white. I have looked at the cancer protocol but for
someone that is barely consuming any food or fluid because it makes
her feel worse I can't see her taking all of the capsules. Is there
something I could start first to possibly work up to being able to do
more for her?
Joni Zander <jonizander@gmail.com> Jun 24 02:31PM -0700 ^
Have you tried DigestZen externally for the nausea?

My wife is an activities leader for a group of young girls. We wanted
them to be able to do a project with our essential oils so we picked
up some little glass jars from hobby lobby for about a buck a piece
and had them fill them with epsom salt. Then they got to pick an oils
to add and they were able to have their own jar of bath salts. They
really enjoyed it and it was very cost efficient.

I just sold Balance (& Breathe) to a barber shop that uses appx. 8 hot moist towels per client for a shave & haircut. The towels are white. Does anyone happen to know if the Balance will stain?

Hi,
Going out in the sun today and I burn easily...I have no FCO...only
coconut oil...can I mix the lavender with that and be okay? Thank you!
Rachel Wachs <rachelloveswade@gmail.com> Jun 24 10:54AM -0400 ^
Yep. We use it that way on our whole family...including a little blonde
toddler.
Sharon Hoehner <detoxexpert@gmail.com> Jun 24 07:55AM -0700 ^
Absolutely! I have just used virgin coconut oil straight up with good
results. While you will not ever see it on the label since that would make
it "medicine" VCO does have an SPF factor. I think around 15.

do you put in lavender and how much to the coconut oil? thank you.
Topic: lavender as sunscreenCory Hughes <momcory.doterra@gmail.com> Jun 24 07:54AM -0700 ^
It is my understanding that using coconut oil and lavender or
helichrysum helps your body create its own sunscreen The coconut is
not a sunscreen, but it gives your body what it needs to protect
itself. My 2 and 5 year old have been at the pool all week. I made up
a spray bottle with organic virgin coconut oil. I put in 10 drops of
helichrysum. I applied it before they got wet and every 2 hours.
Yesterday, I tried a highly recommended low toxicity sunscreen (google
the skin deep report if you are interested in finding out what's in
sunscreen and sunblock) on them and they got more of a suntan
yesterday than in the previous 4 days at the pool with the coconut oil
and helichrysum. Also, take pictures of yourself before & after. Hope
this help!

I was told by doTERRA that they are revamping the ingredients like they did with the PB Assist! I was going to order MJ Assist about a month ago and when I too could not find it that is what I was told!
