Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Sunscreen or sun protection?

I use Bali Sun which is made from fresh coconuts, not dried. It tastes amazing compared to other brands. I eat it daily and I also use it on my body. I mix my Slim & Sassy with it too. It makes the skin very soft.  Apparently it has the same protection as a #15 sunscreen but don't quote me on that.  Unlike the FCO it absorbs into the skin quickly.  The FCO is meant for massage as far as I can tell.  Replacing all food oils with coconut oil is like an internal sunscreen.

Today a massage therapist told me he had a severe sunburn in the tropics and he put grated  potato on his skin, let it dry, then showered it off.  It took away all his pain!  Learn something new everyday if you want to, lol

What kind of coconut oil is everyone using? I live in Florida so we are in the sun all the time and I hate putting all those chemicals on my family. I have one son that doesn't burn (he rarely ever uses sunscreen) and another that turns red almost immediately (always issues sunscreen). The only kind I have now is doterra's fractionated coconut oil but if there is another I should be using, I want to get some right away. Thanks!

It is just something u gotta see what works.
Sunscreen has a lot of chemicals that can actually cause cancer. Good to look for natural alternatives like u r
