Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: 9 year old open sore on foot

Melaleuca and Lavender can go on the open wound, though Melaleuca stings a bit at first...it's a powerful tissue healer and antibiotic, though, and would be worth the temporary burn...unless she has very sensitive skin, in which case I'd go to Lavender. I wouldn't put Oregano on it. She can't even swallow the smallest ones? She can drink it down in water, but I'd add it to something with lemon to cut the heat (I found that one out by making the mistake of licking Oregano off of my fingers...lemon oil right afterwards helped it).

You can add the Melaleuca to the Epsom salts. If you want, add On Guard as well. It can't hurt. Melissa or Lavender could also be added to them. Just make sure you mix the oils with the Epsom salts in a glass bowl before adding them to the water.

These are just the things I'd try if it were my child.

I didn't fill the prescription for the anitbiotic. Even though my
husband wants me to.
What oils should I put in the Epsom Salt Bath? She also can't swallow
pills so I will have to put the Oregino on her feet. Is there anything
I can put on the open wound?
