Re: [Everything doTERRA] Melaleuca and swelling

Vikki, I know what you mean...not all stories are sensational, but that doesn't make the healing benefits to us less wonderful! I have so many of these types of stories since joining doTERRA: the thumbnail my husband thought for sure he'd lose when he whacked it hard with his hammer, but we applied Frankincense and Deep Blue to heal the tissue, and while it's still bruised and nothing seemed to help much with the pain (though Oregano/Lemon blended helped a little at first), he still has the thumbnail--the stomach flu bugs our teenage sons have had that have been knocked out completely within an hour by DigestZen topically at the belly button and just above it, and Melaleuca and On Guard along the spine--the cold sore that I was healing with Melaleuca when I also discovered that it worked better than anything else for my allergies/sinuses and now I can almost always breathe and smell things--etc. 

I love these oils, and am so grateful every day for having found doTERRA. There is no price one can put on the gift of health.

Yesterday I had  "gardening accident", where my garden fork broke and the broken handle flicked up and hit me in the eye, causing the lens of my glasses to give me a 1 1/2" cut close to my eye.

I immediately put Melaleuca on it, and was thankful that there was not much swelling, but I knew that in the morning I'd have a nice shiner!

Well, when I woke up this morning there is barely an swelling at all, and not as much "color" as I had thought there would be.

The continuous application of Melaleuca has kept the cut sanitized and eliminated any swelling - I'm thrilled!
