One thing I would ask is how do medications relate to his kosher diet? Does he take aspirin? Antibiotics? I have total respect for his faith and its kosher restrictions, I grew up with close family friends who are Jewish, so I'm not being smart, or suggesting that you be. Ask it in a polite way, they're honest questions, and an appropriate comparison.

I agree, though, that they need no further blessing, Gaia/Mother Nature's is enough. However, I do Reiki and I bless my food with Reiki energy to increase its health benefits, so it makes sense to me to bless my oils before using them as well. It can only increase their benefits also.
