One of the first doTERRA oils my daughter shared with me before I enrolled as wellness advocate last summer was Immortelle. I used it about once a day and had no problem, just small amount around my eye area. As the weather got colder and dryer in Pennsylvania, all of a sudden I realized my skin only on my face, mainly my cheeks, was red and chapped, also slightly itchy. I even had a bit of edema. It cleared in a few days with coconut oil being the most helpful. Other oils like lavender seemed not to help and even aggravate. Any time I have carefully tried to use Immortelle again, very diluted, I react the same way. Yesterday, I put a touch of Myrrh on a tooth that has been bothering me and my bedtime I realized my skin was reacting the same as if I'd used it on my face. Is it true what I've read that I may have somehow caused this sensitivity and now never be able to use Myrrh?
