Every load I have done with the new detergent come out smelling awful as well. Prior to the new detergent, I always added 3 drops of Purify to each load. I have used the Purify in my washer for 2 years now so I can't imagine it could be my washing machine. I have also used OnGuard EO in my washer as well and have had no issues. It has just been a problem with the new detergent. Make sure you email product support @ doterra.com and let them know if your clothes are smelly after use!
