Over the years I became allergic to beeswax which is in most natural chapsticks/lipsticks. Once I bought chapsticks that did not contain this I have been fine. Propolis is what is in beeswax that many people are allergic to. It's hard to know if a certain brand uses filtered beeswax (propolis free) unless you email customer service. One brand that works for me is badger. It contains beeswax but it must be filtered.
