It is more likely a diet change than the oils. Diet, hydration, and exercise play a huge role in our hematorcit (blood count) levels. If your father's prior blood test was taken at a time when he was eating more greens, drinking less water, or moving less; then his blood would have tested "thicker". I've had family members that had spikes because they ate a broccoli salad at lunch. The same is true when they didn't drink as much water as they should have. If prior to your father's last blood test, he was better hydrated, wasn't eating as many greens, or was getting more exercise, his levels would have "thinned".
Traditionally, cinnamon and cayenne have been used to naturally increase circulation or "thin" the blood. Peppermint may slow how the liver breaks down medication, but your father would have to be particularly senstive and his peppermint isn't ingested (Deep Blue and Past Tense).
As the oils help with pain management and general overall health, my suggestion is that your dad contiune using them. doTERRA oils don't contain any sythtetic compounds or chemicals that would cause negative effects. Being an alternative to modern medicine often makes essential oils a scapegoat (it doesn't help that other essential oils aren't tested as thoroughly as doTERRA's are).
Have your father evaluate what his diet and exercise were like prior to both blood tests. If he's moving around more because he can breath better and is in less pain, then he needs a smaller dosage of anticagulants/antiplatalets (if he's on them) or he needs to increase his green vegetable consumption to "thicken" his blood.
He may get to a point where his body is compensating on it's own.

I sent my father some oils for the bone spur in his back Deep Blue, Past Tense, Cypress, and Terra Shield. He is also using Breathe for COPD. He has been using these for over a month. The doctor says his blood is now to thin and they think it may be because of the oils. Does anyone know which oil in these would cause his blood to thin?--
