Re: [Everything doTERRA] lavender and tea tree oil

So True Pat and they can extract 5 times the amount of Oil from Lavendin
Let me tell you about an well respected US Essential Oil Executive he came to Tasmania Australia purchased what he thought was Lavender and when he got it back to Utah it was discovered this was infact Lavendin
My point is even the expects can be wrong , some the Lavendin is so close to True Lavender

Yes you are correct the Lavendin just doesn't have all the same constituents as Lavender and then there is the synthetic lavender that you really want to stay away from.

Lavendin is not the same as synthetic lavender. Read your bottle of Elevation--it's in there. As I understand it, the difference between Lavender and Lavendin has to do with the level of Linalool and Linalyl acetate, the hallmark constituents that make Lavender such an effective relaxant.

Robert Tisserand wrote an article about the lavender/hormone question. I tried to find it, but the closest I got was this article:  http://www.safbaby.com/can-lavender-oil-and-tea-tree-oil-really-alter-a-baby-boys-hormones

I really hope that we can finally put this question to rest. It has been asked many times. Please read the article and be reassured.
