Many of Modern Essentials protocols and information are passed forward from their literature when the were Young Livings primary literature provider. (several books).  I think there are things like this that have slipped through.  Modern Essentials is an excellent reference book, but be aware of some "left overs" that might not apply.  doTerra's Eucalyptus is fine for internal use.  Especially in the on-guard blend.  As a stand alone oil,  its uses are mostly topical, but it would not be dangerous to use doTerra's Eucalyptus internally.  Young Living suggests that it not be used internally.
