Re: [Everything doTERRA] IUD Surgery

I actually had this happen a very long time ago. The strings vanished and the IUD could not be removed. There was no pain after the surgery at all. It was quite a simple process and there are no nerve endings in the area where the IUD is.  They just go in via the vagina so it shouldn't really be a surgery where they need to cut anything. The only thing to beware of really is the need to detoxify the anesthesia. Not sure how to do that.  The GX/PB would be good afterwards since it is normal for the hospital to put anyone who has surgery on antibiotics.

If she's stressed out about it then there's our lovely mood matrix oils. Serenity beforehand perhaps? I swear I am getting high from the Solace and feeling really happy, lol.  I can tell I will be a bit biased about it but it should be added to the mood oils for sure. Helichrysum would be good if they do have to cut her or if there is bruising. Good luck to her!  I'm sure it will not be too bad at all. The thought of surgery and hospitalization is often worse than the actual procedure!

I have a friend who is having surgery this week to remove an IUD.  Her
midwife was unable to remove it, and it may be lodged into the uterine
wall.  She would like to know what oils to use before and after
surgery to help with preparation for surgery, as well as pain
management after surgery.  What do you suggest?
