[Everything doTERRA] DOterra Oils and the GAPS diet for paediatrics

HI all you other oil freaks! Im including myself in that category 8) ,
just wondering if there is anyone out there that knows anything about
a special diet for developmental delay in children, called the GAPS
diet.
Its based on research that there are neurotransmitters in both the gut
and the brain and that in about 25% of kids who exhibit developmental
delay that cant be "labelled" as eg:autism, that adhereing to this
strict grain free diet with heaps of supplemental foods, for 2 years,
will result in the childs developmental problems disappearing as the
link b/w the gut and brain is repaired. But its very intense for the
parents involved with a cooking regimine that has to be strictly
adhered to and is almost a full time job.
I have a girlfirend with a little fellow(2 years old) who is
xontemplating wether or not to start this diet. He is participating in
very intensive therapies a the moment including physio, speech
therapy, music therapy, hydro, occupatioal therapy and dietary
controls. She works so hard to try and improve tha life of her child
and I would dearly love to be ble to recommend some oils for her to
try. A very highly specialised paediatrician ahs diagnosed that he
thinks the child fit sinto the category of children who can
potentially benefit from the GAPS Diet.ie undiagnosable developmental
delay that isnt any particular syndrome.

He has many allergies* nuts gluten and dairy are the main ones, has
had great difficulty expressing him self with any language, has
hyperplasia? of the hip joints ( turning out) and has to wear
callipers to allow him to walk, and seems to be failry obsessive with
food and over eats if not watched.
If anyone has any experience or knowledge re this diagnosis for kids
Id love to hear about it.
Ruth
