I’m with Connie – I couldn’t stand the smell of ‘lavender’ until I smelled doTERRA’s lavender! I still don’t LOVE it though – I am more attracted to Balance and other ‘stress’ related oils. I heard Dr. Hill mention the same thing at the ATT Certification. It doesn’t always mean that you’re body doesn’t ‘need’ it, but that your ‘chemistry’ may be better suited to another oil.

I agree. If a person really needs an oil they're drawn to it. And if they find an oil is repulsive it usually indicates that they are toxic and yeasty (very acidic). I've found that it's common for a person to dislike the smell of an oil and then later discover they are drawn to it. I used to hate lavender but I like doTERRA lavender just fine. The nice thing about oils is if someone dislikes the smell of one particular oil there is sure to be another oil that that will work equally well but be more agreeable to their system :)

To the best of my knowledge, it's when someone smells an oil and loves/
very much likes the aroma, you're body needs it. I, for example, love
Grapefruit, I struggle with depression and have kidney impairment.
Grapefruit helps both things.
