Collect her urine in a clear glass. Hold it up to the light and if there appear to be pieces of lint floating there, consider it an infection. Stop ALL SUGAR in ANY form. Including fruit, catsup, etc. I would try lemmongrass rubbed on her abdomen and maybe soaking for a 10-20 minutes in a warm bath with lemongrass in it as well. On Guard would be helpful as well. Booth could also be rubbed into the reflex points of the foot. (always the big toe and then the area of the foot mid point at the band at the bottom of the arch, top of the heel on the bottom of the foot) No bubble baths, use cotton panties. Also cranberry juice with NO SUGAR throughout the day as well as LOTS of water. (If she can't get that down, the health food stores will have a cranberry extract.) Needs probiotics...PB assist if she can swallow the little pill. If not, liquid is available at the health food store. (Most yogurt has too much sugar, fruit or artificial sweetener in it to be effective, so avoid that as well.) And lastly, while I am definitely a HUGE proponent of doing it naturally, I also believe in utilizing the best of BOTH worlds when necessary, so don't let it get out of hand. If there is blood in the urine or huge pain, seek medical help. Hope this helps and pray she feels better soon.

I suspect that my 3yr. old has a bladder if not kidney infection.
What can/should I use and how? Thanks!
