Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Page about high-blood-pressure-and-eo-studies

Hi GetOiled,
I'm sorry you could not connect to the information that you requested. Rob started
his personal research after a serious stroke, he also had high blood pressure. According to
my notes from Jeremy Appleton, NC,CNS who said, "Massage with essential oils is used
increasingly for the relief of various symptoms in patients suffereing from HBP". The studies
lead author, Dr. Tanapee Hongratanaworakit of the Pharmacy at Srinakharinwirot, University of
Bangkok, Thailand, has done a lot of research on transdermal administration of fragrance.

Ylang Ylang oil is used in the Philippines aromatically for HPB

After Rob's stroke he decided to put a blend together that would keep his BP under
control and get him off the meds which did not do well for him. The blend he did is
listed below, he would take this blend put 3-4 drops on his hands, rub them together
and applied to heart area, lymph area, wrists and to pressure points on his ear.
He carries the blend with him and applies 4-5 times daily.
He always smells good (lol) and is not on any medications. His BP has dropped from
moderately high to normal.

Blend:
6 drops Ylang Ylang
6 drops Helichrysum
4 drops Frankincense
4 drops Marjoram
4 drops Cassia
25 drops Coconut Oil

You can triple (or more) this blend in a glass bottle and apply as needed.

hope this helps,
pat
