I've been pulling for more than 18 months, every morning. Sometimes I add a drop of On Guard or Clove. I use less than one tablespoon because anymore than that would make me gag. So the amount isn't set in stone. What's important is that you pull (gently moving the oil trough your mouth, don't just hold it in your mouth) the oil.
I use unrefined organic coconut oil, I like that it has a hint of taste even though I don't notice it anymore. Remember, spit it out into a disposable cup NEVER into the sink or even toilet.
