Yes, you did say to use a carrier oil. Thank you for double checking. Unfortunately, according to this website, there is a bleeding risk with Thyme as well.

The hospice nurse is coming tomorrow so I am going to ask her what she thinks. It's so hard watching him suffer and I'd like to do whatever I can to help ease his pain, even if it only helps a little.
