Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Ingesting oils

I've been using doTerra oils for almost a year now as of April 5th.

I take DigestZen, frankincense and the lem-lav-pepp combo by mouth, but I have also tried capsules of frankincense-OnGuard-oregano suspended in several drops of fractionated coconut oil twice a day for one or two days for bad colds, flus and sinus infections. They work AMAZINGLY for me, but I noticed I got stomachaches and heartburn after the second or third dose -- I tried just OnG, and then just oregano, and determined that both are too hot for my stomach. My fingers break out when oregano touches them, so I may be allergic :-). Or I may still sensitive from when I was prescribed oral prednisone over a year ago, before I took oils, and developed bleeding ulcers from the prednisone. I'm just careful w my stomach now.

I love oregano and OnG's power, however -- so, as a compromise, I apply 2-4 drops of both to the bottoms of my feet w my palms every night and then wash hands right after. Tried it diluted in oil, but turns out I didn't need to dilute as my feet are not sensitive.

Have gone a year w no antibiotics, no steroids, and no NyQuil, Sudafed, Benadryl or Claritin. So grateful for my health and for these oils!

Everybody's different in how they react; I'm grateful for the opportunity to find my "sweet
spot".
