She uses some oils, but is continually viciously attacked by another oil company's reps telling her doTerra is poison and she will die using them. This totally knocks her confidence in us.

She has done homework on this medication and is scared out of her mind about drugs or not and the side effects. She is asking for oil recommendations and hoping there is someone who has been on these drugs? She knows bone pain and hair loss. She is already using oils for regaining hair and they are working well. Thank you for any help and guidance.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Frankincense and skin discoloration

How much does she use each time and how often does she apply it? It's possible that it's just more of a staining from the Frankincense because it isn't a clear oil. Perhaps she could try cleansing the area with soap and water each time before applying the Frankincense so that the oil isn't layered on top of the previous application.

I know that I have to be careful with Lemongrass, it's a yellow oil and after applying it my fingers - especially around the nails - turn yellow. When I finally figured it out what was causing the discoloration I started washing my hands with soap and water to prevent further staining, but it took a few days for the old stains to go away.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Psoriatic arthritis

Life Long Vitality [LLV] Supplements are always a good start (work up to a full dose slowly) and DDR Prime - oil or gelcaps.

I have osteo-arthritis and some days the pain in my knees is just too much. I've found that layering Wintergreen and White Fir on my knees relieves the pain. Since it's not a small area (I like to get all around both knees) I do better diluting each of the oils with a carrier oil (I use fractionated coconut oil - FCO) so that it will spread across a larger area. I do this by putting about 1/4 teaspoon of FCO in the palm of my hand then add 2 drops of wintergreen, rub my palms together to blend then massage it into my knee. Sometimes this is enough for both knees and sometimes not. I repeat this process with the White Fir.

I have bad skin allergies (which are now under control thanks to the GX Assist/PB Assist Cleanse and the Zendocrine Cleanse) but [before the cleanses] the itching and scratching were awful. The scratching caused lots of bleeding and damaged my skin, causing what I call "alligator/reptile skin," and NOTHING would relieve the itching. But as I was doing the cleanses [mentioned above] I put diluted Frankincense on my leg twice a day. As I was detoxing from the inside the itching diminished and my skin was improving. All that to suggest the possibility of a Candida Cleanse (GX Assist/PB Assist cleanse) so that you can eliminate Candida as a culprit in making your skin condition worse.

[Everything doTERRA] Thank you for the add, I am a wellness advocate and have a question.

Hi,

I am a wellness advocate and love doterra oils but still feel like I am at the entrance of disneyland and have no idea where to go first to learn everything.

I have been using oils since last year and have been able to help control my fibro pain with the deep blue products, now I want to work on my slightly high cholesterol values. I read in Essential me about Lemongrass and Cassia so made up some capsules but oh my the lemongrass burps are not pleasant so am asking for comments about what you have tried and has it worked?

Thanks for the help,

Helen

[Everything doTERRA] Allergy to pet saliva and urine

Hello Everyone! I have a friend who is HIGHLY allergic to pets, but not their dander. He is allergic to their saliva and urine. He is willing to try EOs. Would the regular allergy protocol work for this? I can't find anything specifically for pet allergies. Thanks SO much for your help. I want to get him something that I know will help right away and hopefully not have to try several options, not sure he'd be up for that.

[Everything doTERRA] Weaning off of antidepressants

I am weaning off of my antidepressant with my physician's guidance.  I no longer want to be dependent on a medication.  I have been on this med for several years and therefore am experiencing some symptoms of withdrawal.  I am looking for an oil or blend of oils to help with feelings of dizziness, depersonalization, irritability, etc.  I am determined to rid my body of this medicine, but don't want to alienate everyone around me in the meantime!

Any guidance is appreciated...

[Everything doTERRA] oil spill down my throat

Hi,
Yesterday I made a morphine bomb using 5 drops Frankincense, 5 lemongrass, and 5 marjoram.  Needless to say the cap came off the top of the gel cap as it started down my throat.  It has left my throat extremely sore and yellow phlegm is now being  coughed up.  Any ideas how to sooth my throat and cough?  I have been drinking tea with coconut and honey and also just letting honey slide down my throat.
Thank you for any thoughts,
Julie

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Acid reflux and heartburn

You are so correct on your statement. The oils are wonderful but there are so many other things that we need to do in order to support and maintain good health. Diet is a huge part of this. So many of us look or the easy way and can't even contemplate going without dairy, or gluten products. Thanks for your timely comments.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: What on earth is THIS???

It looks like impetigo.  I would see this in some of my pediatric patients.  No idea how to treat it with EOs since I am new to EOs.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Coccidioidomycosis, Valley Fever, California Fever, Desert Rheumatism or San Joequin Valley Fever

Start the Life Long Vitality slowly - the recommended dose is 2 from each of the three bottles twice a day. Here's what I'd suggest: 1st week take one from each bottle in the morning; 2nd week take one from each bottle morning and evening; 3rd week increase the morning dose to 2 from each bottle; 4th week increase evening dose to 2 from each bottle. If at any time he feels it's too much he can back off to the comfortable dose then try increasing again in 4-7 days. He will need to listen to his body, we don't want him to lose heart because his body is detoxing too quickly. His body, his immune system are in a weakened state so go as slowly as necessary, educating him along the way.

Encourage him to drink water (1oz for every 2lbs of body weight each day) to get those toxins flushed out of his system, otherwise he's limiting the benefits from these supplements and oils.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Info on LLV having peppermint and frankincense in it

Hi Sherry,  Have you did the cleanse from doTERRA?  I just got home from teaching a class on cleansing.  One of the ladies present had completed the cleanse last year around April.  Among MANY health issues, she had just been told by her doctors that she was going to have to be put on dialysis.  She also has RA. Immediately after the cleanse her levels had risen for her kidneys.  Tonight she gave her testimony.  She is off of 4 of her multiple medications, her kidneys have gone from Stage 3 kidney failure to right above Stage 2.  Her doctor is astounded and asking her all kind of questions about what she is doing.  Her depression has lifted and she is telling the world!  So yes, I would definitely suggest the cleanse kit from doTERRA

Hi Nancy,

I was wondering what kind of detoxing you did?  I am currently taking some liver detox pills from Nutri-west which my chiropractor said would defat my liver...the problem is I have had a constant headache since I started taking them, and my blood pressure has gone up so I feel like it is too much.  I plan to cut back on the the dose, but I am still curious what you all did.  I haven't eaten much white in any form for many years though I confess I do cheat once in a while. Anything you would like to share I would be happy to learn.

Thanks, Sherry

Hi Sherry,
There is a book by Sandra Cabot, MD called FATTY LIVER, you Can Reverse It. This time last year, my husband was threatened with a liver biopsy to confirm cirrohsis or fatty liver. He chose to avoid the needle and go the natural route.  Using the guidelines of the Everything Essential site AND recommendations in Dr Cabot's book has made a remarkable difference.  To make a long story short, at a 6 month repeat Liver Scan, his liver is NORMAL!  We changed our diet, cutting out white processed sugar and got rid of alot of White everything out of our diet.  We have consistently taken the LLV and done not only a 90 day cleanse, but several 30 day cleanses as well as adding lemon oil to our water daily!!  Detoxing is important or you'll just be circulating inflammation to deposit elsewhere.  Things are much more simple now that we are maintaining our wellness just taking the LLV and lemon oil.  But for 6 months we worked extremely hard to correct all that we needed to in order to get him from the jaundiced stages he was in.  You have to be committed and I am so proud of my husband for taking the plunge and getting serious about getting well all over!

My blood pressure has been good overall since I went to the Chiropractor and since I stopped taking the Alpha CRS - also taking less of the Microplex vMZ  and xEO Mega as per what the chiro muscle-tested (2 each instead of the recommended 4 I was taking).  That being said, I still have the fatty liver problem which I am working to solve with raw juicing, more exercise, essential oils such as grapefruit, lemon, zendocrine, and clove taken both orally and applied topically. I found this information on essential oils to use for the liver on the Everything Essential website.  I also have read that myrrh and helichrysum are really good for liver and gall bladder issues which I believe were the underlying problem for that spike I had in my blood pressure three weeks ago so I have ordered those but haven't yet received them.  I am doing a gall bladder flush as we speak so I am curious to see if I get rid of stones which I think are also great contributors to my problem. Things are much improved, but I am not back to normal yet. I am grateful to know what my problem is so I can work to fix it.    Oh, I have an appointment with the chiropractor tomorrow, so I am curious to see how things have improved based on his muscle-testing.

Thanks, Sherry

Hi.  I have high blood pressure and about a month ago started taking L.L.V. A few weeks in, my blood pressure went sky high and I had terrible gall bladder and side pain.  An ultrasound revealed I have a fatty liver, but a trip to my chiropractor who is also a kinesiologist (muscle tester) revealed inflammation and stones in my gall bladder.  After a chiropractic adjustment and a manual flush of my gall bladder and liver, I felt tons better and my blood pressure began to decline.  Oh, I asked him to muscle_test if the doTerra vitamins were working for my body and he found my body likes microplex VMz (has peppermint) and xEO Mega but it doesn't like Alpha CRS (also has peppermint). So consider finding someone who can muscle test to check viability of the vitamins since everyone is different and muscle testing is the simplest most noninvasive way of seeing what works for a body.

Perhaps a place to start would be applying it topically - feet, on the back over the lungs, over the liver (on the right side of the chest just under the breast).

The Zendocrine Cleanse would be another possibility since it detoxes the liver and the other filtering organs - Zendocrine Detoxification Complex Capsules taken as directed on the bottle, and Zendocrine Blend, applied topically on the bottom of the feet and over the liver.

I'm sure that there will be more suggestions but this is a place to start.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] What on earth is THIS???

It looks like impetigo to me too. I usually get it once or twice a year. The biggest culprit seems to be towels, especially if I rub them on my face. I either spray some of the Verage toner stuff on my face if I've rubbed it with a towel, or I make sure it's a freshly washed towel that has been very dry.

It's very important that she doesn't touch it at all, that's how it spreads. The first time I had it, I was 1 years old and my parents nearly put my hands in tubes to prevent me from scratching the sores.

Honestly, the fastest way I have been able to heal my sores is simple to make sure they're not crusted over (basically keep them open until they scab) and let them air dry. No soaps, no oils, no ointments. Do wash your hands after you rub off the crusties. But the healing time for me has been 3 days vs. 2 weeks doing this method. I personally look at it as bacteria being trapped under the skin, and it doesn't thrive with oxygen.

Blessings,
Leah
