If you already have the system, you just fill the top canister with water and put a tsp of the solution in it. The amount is 1 tsp per gallon of water. I'm sure the website has info too, and if you have the solution there should be instructions on the label. There's been a sale going on which either ends today or yesterday; not sure if it's nation wide or just from my rep. You may be able to use the solution without the gravity system; I'm not sure. I just use it with the system and it's convenient since I can just turn the spigot to get clean water.
