Personally I've been using a type of water gravity system that uses Adya Clarity in it. If you're interested, I can send you my contact's info. since he usually has a good price. According to them, this solution can even be put into swamp water and it will be rendered perfectly fine to drink. It's great if you're ever in a natural disaster or run out of water, since if you can find any water source you will be able to use this. The water tastes great and it's fairly easy to maintain, requiring no electricity. I've never tried it on swamp water though LOL.
