I gave a little sample of Francinsense to a singer-friend of mine who detected hoarseness or tension in his voice. No doctor could tell him what the problem was. His voice professor could hear the difference in the voice though. My friend was worried he would strain his voice with this new development and would potentially damage his vocal cords if he would not know how to treat it. I told him to take Frankinsense (its all I had at the time) under his tongue (1-3 drops), that it would taste VERY nasty, but that it could solve the problem. I was suprized when he told me he took it, that it was nasty, and that it actually helped! We found out, that he was straining his voice due to stress and vocal cords tightening up, perhaps also tension in his throat, neck even during his sleep. he told me he had not slep to well in a long time and that he used to also take meds against anxiety at one point in time. Taking a few drops of Frankinsense not only helped him sleep and relax, but also get rid of the strain in his voice... A different problem from yours, but I thought maybe there is something in this amazing story for you too..

Hello -I am very new to doTERRA, but already love everything. Several years ago, I overused my voice quite a bit with a band and doing musicals. I knew how to treat my voice, but I was young and dumb. A couple of years ago I lost my voice and found out I have nodules on my vocal chords. I was due to have surgery on my vocal chords, but due to other issues, I cancelled the surgery. I saw on the Everything Essential page that people mentioned "Jan's Throat Drops in a Bottle" and that they are available for sale. I don' t have all of the oils recommended to make the mixture, so I was hoping I could find out more information about purchasing the mix already made. I am really hoping to avoid surgery, but have been told that is my only option. I don't really have the opportunity to do complete vocal rest, although I dream about going away to a deserted island with myself and doing just that.Thanks.
