Is it raining?  That's the first  thing I would ask. (-:  Rain drop syndrome is called dysesthesia.  Doctors do not know what it is or what causes it.  I don't believe it is dangerous or has other bad side effects. It probably freaks him out and may cause some anxiety, but I wouldn't worry about it.  Lots of people experience it.  If it were me I would try apply aroma touch to areas that are affected.  Use your intuition and muscle test if you know how.  Let us know how it goes.  Happy oiling.
