I would say, "thanks for your response, let me assure you that this is neither potpourri or Candle based. These are essential oils from plants, they are steam distilled and have amazing therapeutic properties. These oils are in well over 400 hospitals and this is growing exponentially. The medical profession is looking at the oils as a new basis for wellness and I think you should at least do your own research and offer this to the precious children that you help". 

I know this is basically what you have written back to him and I concur with that. I just feel you should not stop offering this to him.

Part of my response was..."Well, the essential oils are certainly not in the category of potpourri or candles. Actually, the essential oils of doTERRA are the purest and most potent in the world and they developed a standard called CPTG - Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade to ensure that standard of quality. These essential oils would actually helped the students with allergies and should not effect those with sensitivities to scents due to the purity of the scent. Most reactions are due to the poor quality/low grade and/or the synthetic nature of the scents/oils. This is an interesting discussion that I will research further on.

At minimum, an oil blend like doTERRA's "On Guard" could be diffused in order to kill airborne pathogens and make your environment healthier for students and staff."
