Hello,
-- My mother-in-law has been staying with us and has been doing the GX cleanse. She is diabetic, and has been being very good on her diet. Very disciplined, only complex carbs, and not more than her diabetic exchanges allow. She is eating only the low sugar fruits like green apples, berries, and grapefruit (also in moderation). If she has a yogurt, she uses plain w/a few berries she adds, and a touch of stevia. She eats lean proteins, and a high amount of vegetables (not starchy veggies except a red potato maybe once a week). Since being on the cleanse, she has noted that her blood sugars have gone up. She is taking bydureon (a weekly injectable diabetes med). I know, bad, and she wants to get off of it, but she does not feel comfortable doing that until her sugars go down more. She was using only the coriander/grapefruit/cinnamon combo, but her numbers will still quite bad (around 280), so she agreed to this medicine. She is now around 170 since beginning the cleanse. Before starting the cleanse, she was between 130-145. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? She is quite frustrated with this latest turn of events and is getting discouraged. Help, please? Thank you so much to anyone who posts experience/scientific data they may have!! Blessings! Francine Meeks
