It sounds viral to me. I would suggest using Melissa (or Black Pepper) apply to the roof of the mouth every two hours, drink lots of water with lemon to flush the toxins, put breathe in a diffuser and keep it where you and your child is. Use the Black Pepper and Thyme on her feet every couple of hours. Use Breathe and Rosemary on her back and chest (use a carrier oil) . You both use the same thing just less oil on your child.

Help, I'm at a loss as to what to try next. I've had severe congestion, horrid cough & now my 4 year old has it. She is up all night hacking. I've been applying onguard, frankincense, lemon, breathe, peppermint, & melaleuca to my chest & throat and now to my daughters chest & feet. She has been getting onguard twice a day since October. She now has the cough & a fever-I've applied lavendar and peppermint for her fever. We are diffusing breathe and purify to clear out the germs. What else can I do? I feel bad for her & the lack of sleep. I'm finally able to sleep but still feels like someone sitting on my chest. Oh, and I also gargle twice a day with onguard-lemon-oregano. We also drink hot tea with honey & lemon, and apple cider vinegar.
