I would suggest applying topical oils on that area to help heal the nerve damage. I would suggest Cypress and Basil at least twice a day for one week. If he gets no relief then switch to Helichrysum and Marjoram.

I am trying to help a chiropractor that had active shingles over 5 years ago and suffered some kind of nerve damage in the S-4 dermatome (a dermatone is an area of skin that is mainly supplied by a single spinal nerve) which is essentially his rear end. Whenever he sits he is in a lot of pain and as such has to stand the majority of the time. Does anyone have any experience with this particular type of neuropathy? Recommended protocols? I honestly don't know if they would be the same as other neuropathy protocols.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
