DRAT!! My apple tree, lemon tree and squash plant are victims of the dreaded Wooly apple aphid! And it's going to spread to my other apple tree, avocado tree and tomatoes if I don't do something! I have been told that peppermint is a good oil to use. Is there something else I should use as well? This particular aphid has a trick not available to most other aphids it can go underground and live on the roots. Most leaf-feeding aphids don't do this, but this apple aphid can hide underground where the insecticides are not effective. I appreciate any suggestions you may have.
Thanks!
