Oh sorry, I forgot. Apply the oils every half hour.--It's a long story but Monday night we were scared into thinking that if I didn't have my gall bladder removed ASAP then I would most likely contract an infection and die within 24 hrs. I wanted time to think about it and take care of some arrangements for my baby who is still dependent on me for breastmilk. I asked for a few hours to do this but was told I didn't have a few hours. Because I am someone who doesn't like to be bullied and I consider myself to be an informed patient, I refused to do the surgery and left the hospital. My husband diligently woke up every hour to apply some other oils we were using before I got my friend's recommendation. I was also drinking straight organic non sugary Cranberry Juice and Lemon Water. We were able to flush out most of the infection within 8 hours and have the attacks under control. We went in for a 2nd opinion Tuesday morning and got the ok to keep doing what we are doing. Ten years ago I wouldn't have question my doctors. I wouldn't have had the courage to request more info and understanding of my options but now I do and I am so glad I didn't allow this knife happy dr to bully me. I still might end up needing surgery but there is a new technique that can be tried first before removing the Gall Bladder and so if i do need to have surgery we will try the new procedure.

The one by Elaine is the one I used Monday night and only got rid of one stone (I think) I haven't tried the other two yet. I think I'm going to try the one Pat just posted in another thread first. I have between 6-12 stones possibly more. I didn't have any lemon juice so I just put 2-5 drops of lemon oil in 1/2 cup water and then to help it go down better I sipped a little bit of apple juice in between gulps cause the olive oil is DISGUSTING!This is what a friend recommended to me to use:Over the Gallbladder in layers or blend (I'm currently using these in a blend and not sure if it's as effective as doing them one by one in layers, but I'll give it a few more days/weeks to see) You'll want to dilute it as it can cause skin irritation. I apply to my back side and front.Grapefruit (I really like this one seems to calm things down after a bit)GeraniumCypressLemongrassClary SageFrankincenseUnder TongueFrankincensePeppermintI haven't been using the Peppermint because I am breastfeeding and had already been using the peppermint topically and trying to counter act my milk drying up with Basil.I just use 2 drops of each oils (more if I get greedy :) ) For the blend I did 20 drops of each oil. I just started using these oils and feel I need to keep using them for quite some time to really see if they help, but I feel like they are. Good luck!As for foods we have stopped eating anything with fats and oils, fried and greasy, but I am super sensitive to a lot of foods and some foods that I thought were safe turned out to be pretty dang high in fats and oils. It makes me want to cry, but I really don't want to have my Gall Bladder removed if possible. I know some people don't think it's a big deal, but I'm still pretty young and it can effect the rest of your life. I'd much rather change my diet and use the oils to combat it than go through the process of a Gall Bladder Removal and really have to drastically change things.

A year ago I didn't even know what a gall bladder was...then my 34 year old friend had to have hers removed....wish I knew DoTerra then!..Thanks
