Aromatools sells nasal tubes where you put the oils on a cotton wick/pad that is inserted into the plastic canister. There is a whole at the rounded end which is inserted into the nose. It comes with a lid. This may be an easier option for the children to use.

I just made up a nasal spray for my kids allergies using the lemon lavendar and pepermint mix as well as adding FCO. I tried it on myself first to see if it would burn. It did burn my nose as well as my throat as it went down my throat as well. I don't think I will be able to get my kids to do it. Any ideas on what I can do to improve the mix. I put prob 30 drops of FCO with 6 drops of each of the LLP......I have had them swish and swallow the LLP with pretty good results but I would really like to try a nasal spray.... --
