I didn't see the article on Agave but if they have pasteurized it then you might as well have sugar but if it is unfiltered and dark then you have a sweetner with a low glycimic index.

Oh my gosh!  I wondered!!!  I have an unopened bottle of agave.  I bought it because I kept seeing it in "healthy" recipes.  I still haven't tried it.  I have insulin resistance, so I think this would be BAD for me!!!  When I absolutely need sugar, I use raw sugar, which is better than processed.  I use Stevia as much as possible.  I did not know there was such a thing as coconut sugar!!!!  Dang!
