Definition of SOLUBILIZER
I do dilute Terra Shield if it is being used for children, and yes it is still effective if you have to add a little water or coconut oil to it.
My preference for spreading the oils around efficiently is with a diffuser. I have teachers who use OnGuard or Purify or Lavender when they have a full classroom of children and are trying to keep them calm or kill any airborne germs.

--I must admit that I'm a little lost w/these posts. First of all, what is a solubilizer? Pat, you do different mixtures--On Guard, lavender, Purify--what are these for? And as far as doing this spray for day care . . . what's that for? Also, TerraShield is already diluted--would you dilute it more &, if so, is it still effective? Thanks for helping me to learn!

I use a 22 oz glass bottle filled with distilled water and 20 drops of OnGuard.
You can do the same with Terra Shield. I also do it with Lavender, Purify and
Citrus Bliss.
