I haven’t been able to keep up on this particular discussion, but I am wondering if the condition is not ‘eczema’ necessarily? I agree with Pat – Eczema is an ‘external manifestation’ of an ‘internal problem’! There is a great book that may help you called “The Whole Body Cleansing” by Dr. Gaetano Morello, ND. In his book it helps one understand how the internal part plays into almost all conditions such as yours. Otherwise – you will have the yo-yo effect of the steroids and other meds for a very long time. (And just so you are aware – the steroids usually compound the problem with yeast and candidia. My son is an example of that!)
How many drops of On-Guard were you taking? Also, have you considered taking them in capsules instead of just water? I am sure this is a painful thing you are going through, but two things that I have learned in my journey with the oils. They WILL work, if one is consistent, and patient; two, it takes time for some conditions. It is not something that may go away in a week or even a month. If this is a condition you have been experiencing for a long length of time, it may take months to completely take care of the situation. Don’t give up yet!

Last week, the infection flared up to the point that the 3 'main
patches' were just oozing constantly. Very uncomfortable and quite
painful too. I started to take the OnGuard on a trial run to see if
it would work like an antibiotic. I took it in water, 4 times a day
from Friday onwards, and by Sunday, it looked like the patches had
dried up (mostly). I had also been applying Frankincense to the
patches topically.
By yesterday (Tuesday) I was quite excited, thinking I had found a
natural antibiotic.. but no. It ultimately failed. Tuesday evening
the 'dry' coating on the patches merely peeled off (like a thin skin/
scab) and the patches are seeping/oozing badly again. I wonder if the
thin 'scab' was merely the frankincense dried out. Ultimately, the
infection is still there. Actually, as my eczema is getting worse, I
wonder if the OnGuard is actually having a negative impact, so I
stopped taking it today.
In the morning I will be chasing for a Doctors appointment and ask for
steroids and antibiotics again. Sadly, no essential oil has helped my
eczema in the slightest.
