That's great!  Thanks for sharing the experience it provides a lot of confidence for newcomers to the use of essential oils.

Hey all :)
I am just finishing up from another great day of sharing doTERRA & I am wanting to praise the new Dr. Me book by Boyd Truman that is now available at Aroma tools... It is my favorite handy recipe/healing reference book... :) it is amazing & Boyd's knowledge is priceless to have around...
We had a lady tonight who has pneumonia and she was suffering from a chronic cough and we offered to give her an aromatouch/Spinal technique & she said she could not even lay down without hacking & hacking & obviously not getting any sleep:( so I took the recipe in the Dr. Me book under Asthma that is also so good for a continual cough or a tough cough-and mixed it up & gave her a TBS of it... and within minutes she quit hacking & we gave her an aromatouch & she did not cough once:) she was Shocked!!! We walked out after sharing the oils and had sold a kit-which was a shocker to us cuz her friend said there was not way she would but she could tell a huge difference because of the breathe-immediately cleared her up and the cough medicine:0)
also have a lady that is using the depression formulas in there & is loving the results & much more...
I love the new Dr. Me book & it is a great deal for only $7.00 at Aromatools & you can of course get a bulk deal!!! Love Aroma tools too:0) but so grateful for the knowledge of those who have studied, learned, & share with us... Boyd Truman is one of those gifts to us...

anyway just thought I would sing praises for a minute...

thanks for letting me share my amazing evening & sharing doTERRA.... :)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: how do you get rid of the burpy fish taste from the LLV?

Hi Melanie,

Hopefully the new ones will be out soon. I put a cotton ball with a
drop of peppermint oil in the bottle which at least helps with the
fishy smell, and the taste. Most times it helps with the fish burps
as well, but sometimes not. Hang in there, the new ones will be here
soon.

[Everything doTERRA] DEAD fingernail

Aloha all,

My son's fingernail got infected and the nail fell off 6 years ago. A
fingernail never grew back, instead his skin just hardened!! I heard
such great testimonies of Helichrysum and was wondering if anyone has
had testimony of fingernails growing back after being dead for that
length of time?

Pat, have you heard of anything?

[Everything doTERRA] how do you get rid of the burpy fish taste from the LLV?

Please!!!!!!! everyone give me your input what you do to not have that fishy burpy taste all day long after taking the LLV?
I am seriously considering switching back to the "old" ones because of that.
I have tried eating right before, eating right after as well, sticking the fishoil in the freezer...
I need help, because this is making me sick to my tummy, as I do not like fish, but really would like to keep the other benefits of the LLV.

Thanks for coming to my rescue!

Melanie

RE: [Everything doTERRA] PMDD

I am wondering if you are on the Life Long Vitality?! I think that had a HUGE affect on clearing up my 40 year old acne...I also have started using the skin care in the last 3 months & I have noticed an even more amazing difference in my face and so have other people! :) I get hormonal break outs once a month but I can control those with clear skin/purify/melaleuca & geranium... :) good stuff for me & my crazy break outs!!! Who would have thunk that I would have more at 40 than I did in my teens;)

good luck but get on the Life Long Vitality Pack!!! :0) just my experience... :)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] PMDD

I have (or maybe now I can finally say "had") pretty severe hormonal acne as well.  I tried melaluca and lavender (which seem to be the first two that people recommend for acne).  I used those for about a year, but they didn't really seem to help me much.  Then I started using purify and HOLY COW!! When I have a pimple that I can feel coming on, I just dab a drop of purify on the spot and it is AMAZING!!  Totally gone in a day or two!!  For my longer maintenance, I use helichrysum and frankensense all over on my face and those have worked wonders with my scarring.  My skin has never been better (and this coming from someone who suffered with horrible hormonal acne from ages 13-32!!)  You may just want to try a few different oils and see what works best for you. Someone also recommended geranium for me. It didn't work as well as the purify does.  And man, that frankinsense/helichrysum combo is FANTASTIC!

Good luck!! :)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: PMDD

I experienced the same thing when I first began using the oils to
balance my hormones. Nothing worked for the acne. I started using the
oils last Spring. My face and back is finally starting to clear up. I
honestly think my acne was just part of my body detoxing and balancing
itself. Melaleuca was a big help. I also used lemon and rosemary as a
face wash. It didn't completely get rid of it, but it helped it not be
so extreme. Your body may just need a few more months to work itself
through the balance process.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] PMDD

One thing you might want to try is using melaleuca and lavender mixed together and applied topically with a cotton ball directly to the pimples. Both are antibacterials, and bacteria is the cause of the pimples. This was recommended for my son's acne. Or make an astringent with them using witch hazel and apply it to your entire face.

[Everything doTERRA] PMDD

Hello,

I am still fairly new to doTERRA. I have been using the oils for 4
months now. I started using them to get me off my meds for PMDD
(Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). I was diagnosed with that almost 2
years ago. The oils have been working for the depression that is

it isn't working for is the acne. I look like a teenager going
through puberty. I didn't even break out this bad when I was a
teenager. I know that it is a hormonal issue. I am wondering if the
oils that I am currently using are not the correct ones? I use

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Vegetable Capsules & Bottles

Lesley, this could be an add-on side business for you if you were to find a wholesale source and order in great quantities, then offer the items for sale to your other distributors in Greece.

Just thinking with my business hat for a change!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Hormone Help!

I don't know if this is normal, but this is what has worked for me.  I too had a complete hysterectomy

8 years ago.  I tried everything to not have it, but had so many issues, I thought that best at the time.

Too bad doTERRA wasn't around at that time.  I tried the Bio identical products that were supposed

to be all natural and thought I was going to crawl out of my skinand strangle everyone in my family.

The Pharmacist told me they have chemicals in them.

I went on a nutritional supplement and my hot flashes ended.  I am now on the LLV and still, no hot flashes

and other symptoms.  So, proper nutrients and not succumbing to the sugar craves has helped

me tremendously.  And, I do the Frankincense every AM with the Balance along with Whisper on my

wrist.  I use Serenity at night, which has ended my sleepless nights caused by hormone imbalances.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Hormone Help!

My mom really wants to get off her Hormone replacement pills. She has
tried it before and didn't have any success. But now that we have been
introduced to Doterra she is willing to try again. She has had a full
hysterectomy. No Uterus or Ovaries. We are just wondering if there is
any ideas on how to treat and help the symptoms. We have heard of
Clary Sage and Lemongrass for Hormones but is there anything else we
can try or do to get off the medicine. Any suggestions would be great!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: ADHD

Ramona and Pat,

Yes, it's hard to live this lifestyle sometimes, to care what goes into your body and your family members' bodies and be frustrated at what you see around you. I rarely eat out, and have a hard time going to social functions as well, because of what I will and won't eat. Since I'm lactose and gluten intolerant, there's rarely anything that I can eat unless I bring my own food.

I know we've gone OT with this, but it's nice to hear that I'm not as alone as I sometimes feel. Blessings to those who are sticking to their guns in the face of pressure to conform, and to those who are encouraging others to find the power to do so. Some day we'll be the norm, but it's going to be a battle until then, and we need to stick together.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: ADHD

Ramona,
So very true! I try to avoid social things as they never serve healthy food. How can you tel l your 3 year old no cake? I ask ed church leaders to buy plain not colored treats and they looked at me like I lost my marbles. They give candy galore! Teachers are so misinformed.it is unfortunate that they share their wrong info also.my cousin was told coconut oil was bad for you! A shame! She knew better cause I taught her! Stay strong and do what God intended us to do! Now I do my "crazy" stuff just so people notice lol! It hurts when a family member is sick and they don't even want to listen :(
Thanks for sharing.helps to hear others experiences.

>It's nice to have this discussion here because most people think I'm crazy.  I know that the xxyy syndrome my son has is something he was born with and can't be changed or isn't due to immunizations.  However, I do think they have contributed to his meltdowns and behavior issues.
>
>I actually started out with no immunizations with him.  I signed off on all the hospital ones so they couldn't give him any.  At 13 months old, I took him in and got completely bawled out by the pediatrician.  He really bullied me and threatened to turn me in if I didn't catch him up that day. I was scared and felt very hopeless. I had no one who supported my decision to not immunize so I let him give him everything he had missed to that point.  4 days later, he wouldn't wake up.  He was unresponsive and after calling 911, they found that his blood sugar was at 17.  He should have never woken up.  They determined it to be a metabolic condition, but within a year, he was over all symptoms from that.
>
>I didn't make the connection, until recently as I've been studying the affects of toxins on our children.  None of my children will ever have another vaccine.  I'm not so easily bullied anymore!
>
>We took Sam off as many refined things as we could in January.  As a family, we have been eating mostly whole foods.  It's still not perfect.  I would like to reach the point where we eat more beans and little meat-but babysteps. This is a big step, as it is for a family of 8.  I even had my son's health teacher tell him that the diet I was feeding them would cause him to have allergies because he wasn't having them in his system.  I HATE how much misinformation is out there.
>
>Sorry for the tangent, but I have to say that while the progress is slow, I do feel like these changes are helping him.  The first few weeks, it was like he was being weaned off a drug.  And 2 weeks ago, he got into some gluten at school and for 4 days, everything caused a melt down.
>
>Thank you for letting me share my story.  So many people think I'm crazy and think I'm mean that I'm feeding my kids food that was given to us in the form God intended, rather than from a million different processing plants!  It's funny how personal people can take it when you tell them your kids don't eat a lot of the stuff that their kids do.  Social events are not fun when we walk in with our own food! LOL!
