Not unless she eats the rind of the citrus. The oil is taken from the rind not the inside
of the fruit, therefore the constituents or different.

to the plant that they come from? My friend is very allergic to
everything citrus (oranges, grapefruit, etc.). She is very interested
in essential oils, but is afraid to use many of our oil blends because
many of them contain citrus. Wouldn't the oil of the orange cause the
same allergic reaction as the actual orange?
