Re: [Everything doTERRA] 1 year old lactose intolerant child losing weight

I was in a very similar spot just this last spring.  My baby was 1 and not quite 20 pounds.  He always had a stuffy nose and most milks and food just made it worse.  He has celiac disease, which we discovered during all of this, so we took him off gluten.  I found he couldn't really do soy either.  I actually gave him coconut milk for a couple of months.  I muscle tested this and felt really good about it.  It helped keep him from losing and he actually gained a pound or two.  Then I also took him to a chiropractor and had him adjusted.  This really helped his allergies and he was able to then have cow's milk.  From there, he really took off and grew.  I would suggest just trying different things and follow your instinct.  My little one is now 19 months old and weighs about 25 pounds.

My cousin has a one year old who can't do dairy and he is starting to become a more picky eater. consequently, he is losing a lot of weight.  My cousin and his wife are becoming concerned and are asking what they can give him.  I know there is a history of asthma and other lung issues in the family, but I don't know if this is related to the current issue.  What ideas can I give them?
